Important safety information

What you should know before taking Oral GLP-1 Care.

Boxed Warning: Risk of thyroid C-cell tumors. In rodents, semaglutide caused thyroid C-cell tumors. It is not known whether it causes these tumors, including medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC), in people. Do not use if you or any family member have ever had MTC or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2), or if you are allergic to semaglutide.

Both medicines commonly cause gastrointestinal effects, especially during dose escalation. These can include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, abdominal pain, indigestion, reflux, bloating, belching, gas, headache, fatigue, reduced appetite, and hair loss.

Serious risks may include pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, dehydration-related kidney injury, severe gastrointestinal reactions, allergic reactions, and low blood sugar when combined with insulin or certain diabetes medicines. Both include important thyroid-tumor warnings and should not be used with another GLP-1 medicine.

Tell your clinician about pregnancy plans, all medicines and supplements, and upcoming surgery or procedures.

Wegovy (oral semaglutide) is a prescription medicine used with a reduced-calorie meal plan and increased physical activity for chronic weight management in certain adults. Take once daily on an empty stomach with a sip of water. It may cause serious side effects, including inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis), gallbladder problems, low blood sugar, kidney problems, and serious allergic reactions. The most common side effects are gastrointestinal — nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, and constipation. Tell your clinician about all your medical conditions and medications.

The $95 insurance-processing fee and $49 self-pay membership cover Body Good services only. Medication is paid separately. Coverage, approval, savings eligibility, and final pharmacy cost are not guaranteed. A clinician must determine that treatment is medically appropriate.
