Important safety information

What you should know before taking Foundayo.

Do not use if you or any family member have ever had medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2), or if you are allergic to orforglipron. As with other GLP-1 medicines, animal studies of this drug class have raised a thyroid C-cell tumor signal.

Foundayo (orforglipron) is an FDA-approved once-daily oral GLP-1 medicine for chronic weight management in certain adults, used with a reduced-calorie meal plan and increased physical activity. It may cause serious side effects, including inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis), gallbladder problems, low blood sugar, kidney problems, and serious allergic reactions. The most common side effects are gastrointestinal — nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, and constipation. Tell your clinician about all your medical conditions and medications.
